About Catherine:
Catherine Jarboe grew up in Louisville, Kentucky studying ballet and modern at the University of Louisville Dance Academy under Cynthia Bronner and Chuck Bronson. After years of figure skating, she found her passion for dance while taking occasional ballet classes at the ice rink. She continued her training at Hope College and received her B.A. in Dance and Classics with a minor in Computer Science. At Hope College, Catherine participated in a wide array of dance performances including the annual faculty dance showcase and both Striketime Dance Theater and H2 Dance Company, the Dance Department’s pre-professional dance companies. Choreographic experiences include teaching for Hope’s Hip Hop Club and creating pieces for the biannual Student Dance Showcases. She now lives in Brooklyn, NY.
